The Terrestrial Enclosure

This is a perfect home for any type of ground dwelling tarantula ranging from a size of 2 inches to 6 inches.

Hand crafted out of 6mm thick flame polished acrylic perspex .

Each enclosure includes x2 brass padlocks and x2 keys (per lock) for added security! and also x1 enclosure sticker!

3 hinges hold the lid on tightly and make it able for you to rest it on the back of the enclosure.

2 hasp & staple locks sit on each side of the enclosure to securely hold the lid down in place with no chance of escape for your eight legged friend!

The locks are positioned on the side of the enclosure so that nothing is obstructing your main view unlike most acrylic enclosures the locks are positioned on the front.

4 bumper pads are placed underneath to protect the base of the enclosure.
this allows you to also lift it up much easier and helps level it out on a flat surface.

The air holes have been laser cut in a triangular shape on the sides and a diamond shape on the lid. This ensures that no mould or any type of parasite will grow inside of the enclosure but at the same time holding in the perfect amount of heat and humidity for your tarantula.

It is advised not to use very damp substrate as this will eventually lead to the acrylic flexing over time as it will absorb the moisture. Contrary to the myth tarantulas don't need heat mats. It is highly advised, even though acrylic can withstand high amounts of heat such as during laser cutting, to not use a heat mat on the enclosure. this will create either a hot spot in the enclosure and can also lead to the material flexing over time. The biggest fact being that it can also stress and possibly kill your Tarantula.
